Here are four things we do to ensure the supplements we sell at our pharmacy are high quality supplements, because the most expensive supplement you can buy is the one that doesn’t work!

1. We look for third-party certifications.

2. We read the labels carefully understanding that the ingredients are listed in descending order by weight. We also check serving size and the amount of each nutrient per serving, considering cost per serving and per day.

3. We research the manufacturer, looking for reviews and complaints. We check to make sure they adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards and are registered with the FDA.

4. We are skeptical of claims. Supplements aren’t miracle cures. They are meant to complement a healthy diet and lifestyle, not replace it.
